During the annual Jersey Water Works Conference, members have the opportunity to announce commitments, which include projects, programs, or resources that aid in advancing JWW’s goals. On April 11, 2023, the Green Infrastructure Committee met and co-chair Rosana Pedra Nobre provided an overview and update on the New York-New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program’s 2023 commitments.
The New York-New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program (HEP) takes a watershed approach to address its management goals and the geographic scope of the Program extends to the watersheds of the rivers that drain to the harbor, notably the Hudson, Raritan, Passaic and Hackensack.
